# 0.4.10 — OMT (Open Media Transport) output

App-bundle for every unit on 0.4.x (System → Firmware upgrade).

## OMT output — a free NDI alternative for vMix
- **New "OMT" network output** (Open Media Transport, vMix's open, royalty-free protocol). Turn it on with `OMT_ENABLED=1` (an in-app/web toggle follows).
- **No 30-minute stop and no expensive licence** — this is the free, stable alternative to NDI that switcher operators asked for. The unit appears in vMix as an OMT source (`<name> (TW Streamer)`) over the LAN.
- **Both codecs on every board**: works for goggles H.264 and aerial H.265 — the board hardware-decodes and encodes the OMT VMX codec in software.
- **On-demand**: the encode only runs while a switcher is actually subscribed, so an idle unit costs nothing extra.
- Off by default; existing behaviour is unchanged until you enable it.

## Notes
- ROCK 4 SE / Zero 3W / ROCK 3A and Raspberry Pi 4B all supported.
- On the weaker boards (ROCK 4 SE / Pi 4B) OMT is comfortable at 1080p30; 1080p60 is tight when the board is also driving HDMI.
